What type of Epoxy should I use? Use Ecopoxy Flowcast
Using the right amount of pigment comes down to the project and outcome you would like. Do you want something more transparent or see-through? Or something darker and non transparent?
One suggestion is using 1/8 teaspoon of pigment per 1 liter of epoxy. This will give you medium transparency.
If you do not have a measuring tool, you can estimate by just dumping in a little bit and starting there.
A little bit of pigment goes a long way. We suggest to add a small amount to your pour and add a little bit at a time while mixing in-between until you achieve your desired look.
Make sure you are mixing thoroughly, scraping the sides, bottom of your container and stir stick. You don’t want the pigment to settle to the bottom of your container and leave large amount of flecks that are not stirred into the epoxy. These flecks or speckles will show up in the final pour.
